New beginnings

Hello!  Welcome to my blog.  I am very excited to be posting my journey into the art world.  This blog will primarily be a place where I will showcase my works (past and present) and upcoming projects. This will be a focus on my progress and development as an artist.  I will discuss my process and mediums.  I primarily work in pencil/conte and watercolour, but I do like to dabble in other mediums from time to time to keep things fresh.  As I am also learning from other artists, I will post my progress on their teachings as well from workshops and lessons with information on the teacher as well.

I love to create and share my view of the world with others.  In my work, I hope to convey a sense of peace, comfort, joy and wonder to the viewer.  I also hope to accurately represent my subject(s) in a realistic manner whether they are real or imagined.

In time, I hope to expand on this to an actual website, but we'll see where this leads for now.  I hope you enjoy what you see and read.  Please feel free to comment as I love to hear what people think of my work.
